Gratitude, NaNoWriMo and a very Happy Thanksgiving

As we’re nearing the end of NaNoWriMo, I wanted to take a break from writing to show some gratitude with Thanksgiving sneaking up on us, well at least sneaking up on  me, tomorrow.

I’m grateful for NaNoWriMo – I’ve pushed myself further than I thought possible and am sooo close to typing the end. It’s the first in a planned series, I have rough sketches of the next five but before I start book two, I’m going to start book one of a trilogy.

I’ll finish before deadline and plan to use the remaining days in November to start on another book with a sassy character who’s been yelling it’s her turn now. This one is a trilogy, the world ends, my character is annoyed there’s no more soft toilet paper <grin.

The little things make me smile, fill me with gratitude:

  • my kitties
  • friends
  • family
  • my nieces, one pictured here enjoying a rather large bowl of popcorn
  • nature
  • books
  • movies
  • the smell of fall in the air

You get my drift. What are you grateful for? How are you spending your Thanksgiving?

Safe travels!
